Thoughts on Why

{October 18, 2006}

I’m excited for winter to be here. We are experiencing our second-ish snow. It is rather gorgeous aside from the fact it’s not sticking to the ground. I can’t wait for there to be a foot of snow so I can build stuff with it, make snow angels, have snow fights, wear warm clothes, drink hot chocolate after spending time outside, and enjoy the beauty of whiteness all over campus. I don’t really like winter in general, but this year, I am looking forward to it. I think it will be a lot of fun; I think there will be lots of adventures.

{August 2, 2006}

College is quickly approaching, and I must admit, I am very excited. The days dwindle down as I work and work, but not as much as before, which is awesome. Eventually it will be a week before school and I’ll realize that I don’t have any of the stuff I need and go frantic. I can’t wait for school though :) Let the adventure begin.

Nothing is more exhilerating than driving through flooded streets while taking pictures of the mass chaos that surrounds the downtown area!

I don’t understand poking on facebook… I just don’t get it. Someone please explain to me that point of poking…

{May 31, 2006}   The Fish

For LB:
Someday, LB, we will see the fish (not together lol). But anyways, lets hope the fish is not lazy, but active, and interesting. Lets hope the fish is strong, and perhaps large. Anyways, when I read about the fish that one day on the bus, I knew I would never forget about the fish. And I’m a swimmer, so, I guess that means I should really like the fish, right?

Everyone’s like, wtf mate? But LB knows what’s goin on!

If the sun stopped shining and disappeared, human life would not be able to survive more than a week. And i’m not talking bout the sun dying slowly, yada yada, it would survive 8000 years before we stopped getting light and heat. I mean the sun is gone. There is no light. Photosynthesis will not occur etc.. So yeah, the Earth would be finito. What do you think? How long will it take mankind to die out if the sun were to disappear?
Things to think about:
what would happen to gravity?
what would happen to water supply?
would we flood?
how will the moon affect us?
what will we do with no sunlight?
how long would our energy supply last?
would there be chaos?
would we be sucked in to jupiter’s orbit?
how other animals be affected?
anything else?

{May 13, 2006}   Monopoly

I really dislike this game because I have to depend on my enemies to trade etc with me and it is unstructured. It makes me very frustrated. I really prefer being able to control my own destiny/win/loss. That is why monopoly is not cool. Maybe when i get better it will be. but not now.
